An award-winning photographer, Frank Barnett’s work is included in private, corporate and museum collections. His rodeo photography and iconic images of New York Harbor and Bourbon Street in New Orleans were selected by Pendleton® Woolen Mills to be woven in wool and included in their Limited Edition Fine Art Tapestry Series. One of Frank’s major specializations is portrait photography that can only be described as a true collaboration between the subject and the photographer. His commercial work has appeared in books and periodicals, in annual reports, marketing collaterals and on websites. Frank’s commercial work has included stunning images for Oregon’s wine and culinary industries as well as speciality beverages including the state’s growing boutique coffee trade.
With his late wife, Sharan, Frank co-founded a successful Silicon Valley advertising and public relations agency, a video production studio, and together the couple operated two art galleries, and authored scores of ads, articles, annual reports, brochures, documentation manuals and, researched and wrote Working Together: Entrepreneurial Couples. The Wall Street Journal, dubbed the Barnetts the “Chief Gurus” of spousal business. Frank is currently writing Copreneurs: Entrepreneurial Couples Working Together, the 25th Anniversary Edition of his first book.
Frank Barnett has won two Santa Fe Ad Club Addy Awards for “Best National Ad Campaign” and “Best National Direct Mail Catalog” created for the Museum of New Mexico Foundation. He also received the Paragon National Gold Medal Award for “Best Black & White Photography” conferred by the National Council for Marketing & Public Relations, a Merit Award for his Self-Promotional Catalog from Printing Industries of America, a First Place Award for Superb Craftsmanship for a marketing collateral by the Portland Club Gallery of Superb Printing, and was named “Business of the Year” by the Salem Convention & Visitors Association, in addition to other honors throughout his career.

Mart is the business manager for Frank Barnett Photography and a creative for the firm. She has been involved with 3D photography for the past two decades and regularly contributed articles to the official publication of the 3D Center of Art & Photography, the only museum in the country dedicated to stereoscopic imaging. In 2009 she co-curated 1 Brain + 2 Eyes = 3D, an exhibit about 3D imaging for the Oregon Historical Society, writing the narratives for the museum’s exhibit which ran for six months. She is a contributing writer to several print and on-line publications and is on the Board of Directors of the National Stereoscopic Association. Mart is a native of California, where she is licensed as a CPA. A former Big 4 auditor, she has also held senior positions at AT&T, and Pac-West Telecomm.
